Finding Hope on Healing Ground
Group Support
We are an outdoor, in-person grief support group for adults. If your loved one has died, or is dying, you are welcome to join. Connect with others who understand the complexities of grief while finding solace in the beauty of the outdoors. Whether you're seeking a moment of serenity or looking to foster new connections, these events offer a safe and understanding environment for healing.
Groups are facilitated by certified grief educator, Monica Bredeson. They include an opening meditation or poem, topic discussions, group sharing, and a light hike lasting approximately 30-45 minutes.

“Monica is warm and welcoming in this group. She meets members where they are in their grief and helps hold the emotions. Meeting in nature brings a calmness to grief and leaves me feeling a little refreshed each time”

“Red Pine Grief groups have helped me by providing a safe space for me to express my sorrow with others who understand. I don't need to put on my game face. There's such a freedom and release from that. Then we go for a walk and connect with nature, which helps to ground us, give us a physical release, and reaffirms the importance of doing something good for ourselves, getting out of our heads for a bit, and also interacting with other people face to face..”
